The world's first floating ecopark in Chicago provides land to improve biodiversity, provide green space, and help filter stormwater when it rains.

An herbarium is a surprisingly important learning and conservation tool that requires management. As everything becomes more digitized, Cal Poly Humboldt has also been making a digital 3D herbarium to maintain the visual integrity of the plant. It will be open sourced, so it will reach a much wider audience.
Viewers can click and drag for a 360-degree view of specimens (seen here: false lily of the valley), and click on data points for classification, pollination information and more. Photo from Cal Poly Humboldt.
